i noe this is gonna sound DAMNNNN cliche...
but i gotta say it still.
time passes really fast.
i can totally rem how we met and our first date, our first kiss.. the first time i brought him home, and the first time he brought me home. and now it's nearly 3 years. =))
there've been ups and downs... and recently more downs den ups... there was this period of time it was so bad, i tot we're never going to make it.
but then again, when things are THAT bad, it cant get any worse, it can only go uphill from there. and uphill it did. =)
so again, here's happy monthsary to the both of us.
he brought me to this restaurant at sembawang, which he searched and found online. i always like it when he does stuff liddat... haha... i mean, what could say more of a guy's sincerity in making the nite perfect for you huh?

the food is damnnnnnnn solid lar!!!!! superbly nice... and i totally love the baked potato, i dunno wat's tat sauce they put on top... but it's definitely not the normal mayonnaise kind, coz it tastes much better den that...
we went to watch "get smart" after that... a movie tat we wanted to watch since the first time we saw the trailer... it's effing funny okay!
i laughed till my sides ache. and there was this guy who was sitting right in front of lester who cant stop laughin, and his laughter is the deep-resounding loud kind of "hohoho"... and lester was damn amused and bemused and irritated at him all at the same time...
den les came my hse to stayover =))
basically, we've been alternating the stayover so tat our parents wun feel too pissed haha...

met up with the TTT gang (i.e. my sec sch frens) for a short dinner gathering and oso to celebrate peiting's belated bdae... which was really really belated... haha... but some of my frens went to melbourne for hols, so we gotta wait for them to come back first.

it was damn nice meeting up with them lar! we went new york new york... and the queue to get in was damnnnn freaking long can! but all worth it. i love their food.
we shared desserts aft tat, all ordered by peiting, aft she stared at the menu for like a full 30mins or mebbe even more hhaa...

the chocolate was superb can... we all went crazy over it... i actually noe ppl who dun like chocolates, and seriously i JUST DUN UNDERSTAND THAT!!!!
how can anyone not like this heavenly stuff. it's like one of the best things ever invented.

den i told them there's free cotton candy and i could seriously see all their eyes light up...
the waiters there were nice enuff to keep getting the cotton candy for us... haha...

went sentosa with my sec 4 frens! who are absolutely crazy abt the sun, sand and sea. and oh yes, volleyball too... haha...
i'm glad i have them, seriously. coz my other frens haf nvr been as crazy as me abt sentosa.
the weather was superb superb!!!! it's like one of those best days ever to go to the beach.
and there was a CLEO bikini photoshoot there, and the siloso beach volleyball competition held there... which makes the whole beach bustling with activity. and i love it when the beach's liddat!!!! hee...
and by the way! the siloso beach volleyball competition has a primary category, secondary category and an open category... and for the secondary category,
how superbly fantastic is THAT!!!!
i was so excited and happy when we were playing volleyball halfway and they announced that... and mark kept claiming that mebbe we started the trend of playing volleyball in our sec sch... coz as far as i rem, our sec sch has nvr had a volleyball team before haha...

he swam towards tat wooden pole which was far far away fr the shore by the way... he claimed tat he's goin to climb on top and sit on it... but apparently there's a crab on it and so he refused to do it in the end... haha...

Batam - 14th and 15th Jun 2008
went for a 2D 1N batam retreat with my family AND extended family. an astounding 17 ppl went... haha... it's like a mini tour grp lar...
first day at the harbourfront port was nothing less den CHAOS. imagine trying to get the passports of 17 ppl, ahhhh i'm kinda lazy to describe. but trust me, the few hrs in the morn tire me out alr... -_-'''
anyway we missed our 910am ferry, and lucky for us, we were able to rush for the 935am ferry... otherwise we could have juz rotted at harbourfront.
reached KTM resort at last... aft near 45 mins of ferry ride, near 2hrs of trying to locate my uncle's golf bags which was last seen at check-in.

we took 5 houses altogether... and me and my family was in C16!!!
that's our house, with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and best of all, 2 televisions with Channel 5, Channel 8 and Channel U!!! wahahha...

the first thing we did was to unpack our stuff and go for lunch.

the coconuts they serve us were damn freaking huge lar... aft finishing up 1, i was full to the brim alr.

tat's my cousin, uncle, mom and sis
we went for this saltwater jacuzzi at the resort aft lunch, and it was soooo fun lar! i think the sheer force fr the water coming out made my waist and butt lose 1 inch around or something... haha...
and this is the part, where i was soooo glad i told everyone abt my tattoo alr... otherwise when i strip down to my bikini and they see it by accident, they'll prob go speechless or something...
nuaed ard in the room aft tat and watched this trashy channel U show... before goin for dinner at this seafood village, called HarbourBay...

the place was damn romantic-looking lar... kinda like fisherman's village in spore but abit nicer-looking and much MUCH cheaper.

we ordered like hell lot of seafood and it onli came up to S$60 PER TABLE. tat's like how cheap!!!!!!! we ate stuff like chilli crabs, grilled teppanyaki sotongs, sambal stingrays, lalas, satays etc etc...
the lalas are supa dupa wupa NICE!!!!! i nvr knew i'll like it so much coz i've nvr tried them before. i always tot they taste like hums, and i absolutely hate hums... but lalas are so nice lar!
the next morn, we woke up as early as 6am... coz the resort serves breakfast at 7am.

went for buffet breakfast... chinese buffet breakfast... and the best thing there was their toast... -_-''' coz everything else was sooooo oily! and unlike lester who loves oily breakfast, i absolutely hate it.

aft breakfast, we chatted and waited for like an hr before our tour bus came.
ya like any other typical family, my family booked a one day tour.
and luckily we did. coz we intended to take the 6pm ferry back to spore... but due to overwhelming response, we onli managed to book the 830pm ferry. how late is tat... aiyo.
the tour guide brought us to this supposedly famous bridge in batam... which was, not that i wanna say, but really small and nothing spectacular.
it sort of reminds me of brooklyn bridge in new york tho...

there were these peddlars surrounding our tour bus once it stopped... and they were all selling the same stuff...
the crabs are humongous okay!!!!!! and trust me, they all smell sooooo freaking good i almost wanted to buy it... but erm they dun look like they're even close to 50% hygienic so we didnt.
the rest of the one day tour included ralph lauren polo factory outlet (where i bought a $40 polo tee for my dad for father's day!!!!), a place to buy local food, this humongous shopping centre called "MegaMall", and a heavenly massage at IndoThai Spa & Massage.
trust me, it is heavenly! it's exactly like the one me and lester had in Bintan, juz that this place in Batam looked more atas and classy... haha...
and before i end off... some sightings ard Batam...
5 ppl squeezed onto a motorbike
and according to our tour guide, sometimes they squeeze 7ppl... and tat's a COMMON occurrence, mind you.
i have no idea how they do tat.

seriously i don't think it's even the length of my body. according to the tour guide, tat house belongs to an old man.
arent we all lucky ppl? seriously, i looked at some of the hses ppl over there lived in, and i absolutely cant imagine how they manage to get past each and every day smiling... sometimes we've got lots to learn... and things liddat remind me now and then to be contented with wat i already have... =)
