After 3 hours, i finally got this blog up and running, with 1% help from les, coz tat guy had his eyes too glued to his soccer (bleh!)
To his credit, the above photo was photoshopped by him. hahah...
and yea, i noe the template is very VERYYYY similar to my own blog, i lazy lar... and i hate playing with all the html stuff... reminds me soooo much of those programming days, which i hated and sucked at it all at the same time.
FIRST ENTRY!!!!!!! Yaaaayssssssss!!!
I got a feeling i'll be doing most of the bloggin, even when we're in USA. hahah...
Anyway the ROLEX peeps had a mini-gathering tat day, the formal reason for the gatherin was to discuss itinery for Work and Travel, but it's actually an excuse to juz meet up, sing our hearts out at KTV, and to gorge ourselves silly with Teppanyaki at my house...
wah lao, the food for Teppan was superb (as usual), i forgot to take photos lar... but we had helluva food, and each of us onli paid abt $5 for that humongous amt!
anyway, our KTV started at 320pm, even tho i smsed everyone to reach at 130pm. -_-'''
we are all never on time! NEVER! haha...
It was made all so much nicer, because you have this knack of hugging me closer to you each time u sing a love song. =)

it all ended well with a short mahjong session (at my house too), which didnt really curb my mahjong craving. urgh, 3 months without it. I'm not usually so gian mahjong, but hols is usually a time for me and my frens to polish up our mahjong skills, and i'll be so deprived of it this time.

Finally had a chance to catch up with my family today, we're all so busy these days, I hardly get to sit down and have a good chat with them. And it doesnt help that i'm always running places meeting frens, buying stuff and trying to squeeze the numerous tuitions i have into this short 9 days i have.
yea, guilt startin to eat away at me. but we had some real quality time today and it feels good!
in my good mood, and with Mother's Day coming up, I've decided to bake a cake!!!!
Mango cheesecake, overflowing with mango cubes
This is like my 5th cheesecake. So far, I've conquered
1) New York Cheesecake
2) Lemon Cheesecake
3) Mocha Cheesecake
4) Oreo Cheesecake
5) and now, Mango Cheesecake
All for the important ppl in diff phases of my life. Weird enuff, when i type those diff kinds of cheesecake i've ever baked, I can actually rem who I made it specifically for, how I gave it to him, and his expression of joy and delight. Not many hims in my life, but all playing a significant role in diff phases of my life.
But, this time the mango one will be for my MOM!
i haven tasted it actually, it's still sitting in the fridge freezing.
It's Monday, 2 days away, and time to do the horrid job of packing. Running around the house, grabbing this and that and dumping all of them into my huge luggage. The horror of finding out that I really need some stuff, and I dun have them... -_-'''
If not for my mom's and aunt's nagging, I would have packed the nite before. haha!
and the shoes!!!!! arent they simply sweet and lovely!??!!? i dun really need them tho, was juz gonna get some plain BATA white sch shoes for work (coz stoopid paramount has many rules abt workin attire), but courtesy of my aunt, and under her insistence, these are now mine!!!!
wahahha... i love the pink snowflakes thingy inside... pity they're gonna haf my feet all over them.
oh by the way, for people who loved dimsums, there's this place in VivoCity called "Hei Se Hui" and their dimsums are always 50% off everyday from 3pm to 5pm. they're superb!
I've been eating tons of non-western food these few days, hoping that I'll get supa sick of them and be glad that I'll have 3 months worth of western food awaiting... haaz.
