being the sua gu lester is, of coz he hasnt been there before, and i always wanted to bring him there, plus my aunt has night safari cards from her company that allow us to enter free!!!!!! so we all went!!!! that would be peiting and bf, liyang and gf, me and bf!!! so it's kinda like a triple date haha...

i love those glowing blue eyes that they paste around night safari, even the ceilings of the toilets have them!!!!

greeted by some tribal dances the moment we stepped in. (and that woman in red who turned around to smile at my camera totally spoil my photo!!!! RAR!!!)

anyway i seriously didnt expect so many ppl there, but that entire place was practically bustling with ppl! children, ang mohs... totally full of life. i love places like this.




went for the animal show aft tat, coz it felt like a must watch...
tho i didnt take much photos coz flash is not allowed, and the entire place was so dark!




totally looked like a scene out of some werewolf movie when that wolf came out. and everyone kept making wolf-y noises, which is irritating, coz i really wanna hear the wolf howl.




and yes! my face look humongous and fat there!
i'm 23 already, and yet i cant seem to get rid of baby fats on my face... -_-

les says it's cute, but it's starting to irk me. haa!




the host was indian, and yet she kept making racist jokes haha...
she's noisy and loud and really funny, i think i actually enjoyed the show more coz of her, rather den the animals haha...




the tram cost bloody $10 per person and we actually have to pay for it coz the night safari card doesnt cover its cost.

i did consider walking u noe. but according to peiting, the tram enters places that couldnt be reached by foot. so oh wells. it was fun lar, but the lazy ride made me damn sleepy.






mebbe we shd celebrate our next monthsary in the zoo??? hee...

the entire place didnt allow flash, and i didnt wanna risk blinding some cute little animals with flash.

basically, night safari is a boring boring boring place.
it's dark so u cant REALLY see the animals.
and it makes me sleepy. and mind you, i'm nocturnal.

seriously a waste of money, only go if u've the card (like us) and it's free.
otherwise it'll cost bloody $32 to get in.

me and les still think the zoo is more fun. perhaps, we will try bird park next time. wahhaha...

we were damn freaking hungry aft tat. coz we didnt eat for the whole entire day. yea, try not having any food in ur stomach since morning till 12am midnight.

i tot i was goin to get gastrics. -_-

anyway me and les cabbed to holland V to have our late dinner (or supper), and we ended up at Breko eating a sumptious late dinner.




the buffalo wings there are sooooo damn freaking SOLID!!!!!!!!!!! easily the best i've eaten, losing alittle juz to Hooters in USA. haha...

i've gotta try those with beer next time. hee...

i've nvr eaten a whole meal of steak at 12am before... haha... but damn, was it good or wat! and it's much cheaper den the steak at other places. and i sooooo love the cheese on his pasta! haha...

we were so hungry before tat, tat i think we sorta overkilled on our food when we ordered. so we were both damn bloated aft tat haha... but the buffalo wings was a definite must-try!

we played tennis, bowling, boxing and watnots on the Wiii... and i think boxing killed me, like literally. my arms were aching aft tat. mebbe it's not a bad idea to get Wii at home, can lose the fat arms. haha...




we've to try the DVD thing at Cine next time k!!!!! they have all these private rooms with LCD screens and soft comfortable cushions on the ground, and u can juz rent a dvd at $6 and lock urself in the room and watch in privacy.

i saw the room, and it looked superb! and plus it's like damn cheap.

and anyway! speaking of green! look wat lester got me!




soooooo cute rite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it even has tat weird looking green thing on his head. too bad it's not rubbery, tat'll make it look even nicer. anyway go watch the movie for those who haven! it's so freaking funny, and he's really cute inside!

and according to chang who went tgt with les to buy it, chang jiang 7 hao's hair looks like lester's hahah...



and coz lester's always complaining that i always let the flowers he give me wilt and die at one side, and den throw them away, i've decided to do something to them.




ya, this is actually the first time i dried flowers and kept the petals. to the dozens of flowers i've received before, ermmm i'm sorry to all of u who've given me those, but usually i juz put it at one side to wilt, until my dad cant stand the sight of those dying flowers, and he'll throw them away for me. haha...

so this time, i decided to be nicer to the Vday flowers that les has given me. and i realise, potpourri does look really really really nice! so i'm starting to like the idea of receiving REAL flowers now, which i used to be neutral to it coz i tot it's a total waste of money since it always ends up in the dustbin.

so bottomline: LESTER!!!!! u better give me more flowers from now on. wahhahaha...



12th to 14th March are really significant days to me, and all the other chem engin students, coz it officially marks the END of FYP. like seriously, THE END. never ever do i have to take a look or even think abt that damn thing, which has been a chore for like wat, a year!

i'm really grateful to my FYP supervisor, tho he prob doesnt read my blog haha, but i'm seriously grateful to him.

he made it possible for me to actually go on work and travel last year, believe it or not. if it wasnt for him being so kind and generous and really nice to me, by cutting down my workload halfway thru my fyp, and helping me in every possible way, i couldnt have been able to finish before i leave for USA.

u wont believe HOW MUCH he actually help me. let's juz say, aside from the actual report writing, my project was abt 50% done by him. so yayssss!

yes, i was in a dress tat was TOTALLY white, coz i forgot white glows in the club. and i was so scared i'll glow like nobody's business once i'm inside. luckily tat didnt happen in MOS.

had an outing with the s5G ppl, in lieu of aiwei's and xt's bdae. it's always nice meeting up with them. =)

we went to pasta de waraku at marina, that was pretty good!!!!
they have like 101 choices for pasta, with 101 different kinds of sauces, and a free salad that comes with every pasta.

but they scrap the free salad when me and les went a few days ago. stingy stoopid restaurant, i hope u read my blog.




to give them credit, the pasta that they served to us, really look like those on display. so they're not those kind of restaurants whose food looked good and humongous only in photos. =)




i ordered pasta with spinach sauce, and it wass sooooo nice!!! tho it lost out to Da Paolo, which me and les went on his bdae last yr. i'm definitely goin back to Da Paolo, their pastas are the tops. les's pasta is some soup based-creamy pasta i think. and the serving is huge!

there was this goldfish competition outside TCC, where tanks and tanks of goldfish await us... we went out to take a look, and the goldfish are all not wat we expect them to look like.




look at all these weird fishes, with their humongous eyes!!!! i finally understood the phrase "bulging eyes".




all of them look like they have some cancer tumors.
but according to someone (i forgot who) the more "tumors" they have on their head, the better the goldfish is. it's supposed to mean that they've received much nutrients...


this week is gonna be a week for me to juz relax and enjoy myself. cept for my test on tues, i think it's gonna be a pretty good week!

tho the stoopid weather better improved, coz i've missed 2 sentosa outings becoz of that already.

mahjong with yongxiang and the other chem engin ppl at my hse tat nite totally satisfy my craving for mahjong!!!!!!!! fun but tiring. and we shd order mac breakfast like we did tat nite!
