26th Jul 07 - Las Vegas Day 2
After the first day in Las Vegas, we started to realise in LV, it's different from the other cities, ur itinery gotta start late late late in the afternoon, and go all the way thru the nite, reach back the hostel den slp till late late late next afternoon...
so tat's wat we did!
first stop tat day was to this humongous souvenir shop that we saw along the way the day before. it claims that it's the largest gift shop in the world. it really is huge.
tat's like 1/20 of the whole entire shop.
we spent longer in the shop den expected. souvenirs were cheap here, much much cheaper den those in virginia and san francisco. and suddenly we were all buying souvenirs for frens, relatives, family, neighbours, classmates... when our initial intention was "just to take a look".
i love those hugeass glasses. but luggages luggages. it's no longer abt money constraints. -_-'''
seriously, if i stay in a hotel like this, i probably wun even wanna leave the hotel for sightseeing at all.
we waited for the show for abt 45mins, coz they keep delaying, insisting that the wind was too huge (tho i dun see any links there). managed to catch the show on video in the end, lazy to upload lar... haha...
went for linner!!!!!!! (lunch cum dinner)
wat else but buffet again! this time we had a voucher which we got by signing up for membership for free at the casino. and this voucher... *drumrolllsssss*
entitled us to a USD3 buffet each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (usual price is USD6)
by the way, USD3 = S$4.50
wah lao! think already i oso high! damn shiok can! it's a hotel buffet!!!
look at the high-class settings! and the sumptious spread!!!! and the nice lightings! and the superb ambience!
the food was SUPERBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB to the power 10.

isnt it amazing!!!! it's like a little mini Paris built indoors. even the sky is fake, it's painted.

everything inside is abt M&Ms, even the cars, even the escalator, even the movie posters.
and this is damn cute!!! they're all movie posters but modified to fit M&Ms.

went to the Strip again, coz there's endless things to be seen there! and endless themed hotels there! first stop was Caesars Palace again, coz they've got this really beautiful fountain show.

those 2 are hotels by the way. yes, deceiving as it mite be, they contain rooms and ppl inside.

we went to the bar aft tat, coz before enterin the hotel, we saw lotsa ppl along the streets carrying glasses of alchol shaped in the shape of PARIS hotel... they were supa nice can!!!
so we went to the bar and bought those glasses. haaaz!

my glass contains Pina Colada!!!!!!! and it was superb! the best thing was there were hell lot of liquid in tat glass, so it was supa worth it. oh it's made of ceramics by the way. and it's sitting nicely on my study table now!

which was, is, and will be my favourite themed hotel from LV. it is oh-my-god-breathtaking! i think i was silenced for awhile when i saw the hotel. if u think the photos look nice, the hotel in real life is even better!

i love reading fairy tales when i was a kid. like really really love. i'll grab any book tat has any mention of princesses and princes. as much as i hate playing with dolls (yepz, the word is HATE), i guess there's still that tinge of girliness in me.
and this place is juz wonderful. i could live here forever.
of coz, with lester, with my good frens, with my relatives, with my family, with my future dog, with my siblings' future families...

the gamemaster was damn good.
ok, the game go like this. u can choose a category for the gamemaster to guess - ur age, ur birthday month or ur weight. and u dun haf to say anything or do anything. he'll juz guess. if he's wrong, u get a prize. if he's right u dun get a prize.
les chose age, and the gamemaster got it right!!!! he said 22!!! tat's amazing, becoz most of the americans look very mature. so to them, we prob look abt 3 yrs younger.
