i hope this year will be a better and happier year for everyone out there. may everyone always be smiling EVERYDAY!!!! and may all undergraduates get a CAP of 5.0!!!!! wahahaha...

anyway! new year's eve was nothing less den superb! spend new year's eve and countdown with les, hence missing out on my friends' chalet... but countdown wun be the same without you by my side, so you shd be touched okay! hee...




met up with him after 2 continuous tuitions in the morning which totally shagged me out, somehow. we went to Brewerks at Clarke Quay to meet up with his friends for dinner. wanted Waraku but the place is packed packed packed and they dun accept reservations on eve itself, so oh wells.




i've come to realise tat i'm a total chicken lover. almost every meal muz haf chicken for me. anyway! the food at Brewerks is really ex... something like the above will cost $22 each. tat's freaking ex lar! the bbq-ed chicken i ate is like tat of Kenny Rogers, which is half the price. -_-'''

shd haf eaten the mussels instead... Brewerks mussels are like the best EVER.
anyway the 8 of us shared a tower of golden ale... my face turned mega-red aft tat.

me and les den left the group to squeeze and squash tgt with the ppl at Esplanade. why are there so many BANGLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *pui*

aft some jostling and pushing by irritating ppl fr the back, we finally found ourselves in Esplanade at 10plus pm. les hated the crowd so much, u shd haf seen the look on his face when he finally managed to get into Esplanade... haha... i'm sorry! i noe u're doin all these so tat i can see fireworks... hee... =)




he bought the ratatouille vcd to surprise me when we met up... coz our plans for tonite aft countdown was to escape to his hall room and watch movie, as we always do on festive seasons when everythin else outside is expensive, and the whole Singapore seemed to be in town haha... so choice of the night was "Ratatouille"!!!!!!

which for ur info, was good and cute and funny at some parts... =)

we went into Chocz at Esplanade for some dessert coz i didnt wanna stand outside like an idiot for an hr plus juz to wait for the fireworks.




I ordered this coz it's so fun to play with!!!!

you can choose btw white chocs, milk chocs or dark chocs... so anyway, they'll give u a platter of chocs, a mug with a candle underneath and a jug of milk... so all u've to do is pour the jug of milk into that mug with candle and throw in any no of milk chocs u wan into it to melt it... den u'll get a milky chocolaty hot drink!!!

it's so much fun... hahaha... only S$6.80... go try it! (they shd pay me for this -_-'')




1150pm. we decided it's time to squeeze and squash with the crowd outside... it's not as crowded as everyone thinks u noe... and coz it's in the open, it's not like hot and stuffy and sticky... it's qt cooling actually...




the river in front of esplanade was filled with blue bright balls with sporeans' well wishes on them... i wrote on alot of them! hee... it was really nice! esp when the lightings reflect off the balls and the waters... =)
but i couldnt manage to get right to the front, so no photos!

the fireworks were, as usual, juz amazing and breathtaking...
i've said before tat i seemed to be really attracted to glittery and bright lights (think, Las Vegas), and really allured to flames and fires and its likes.

so fireworks to me, can never be anything short of beautiful.
i've nvr missed countdown fireworks before since JC1. tat will be 5 years of countdown fireworks!

i think tat's the best way of welcoming the new year, with beautiful sights tat seemed to explode right in front of you, with happy laughter that comes fr everyone else around you as they wowed with the fireworks, with your arms around me and your lips on mine. =)

i'm gonna meet Cai Lin now coz she's coming over to my house to prepare food for potluck dinner at Yuansheng's chalet tonite!!!! YAAAAAYSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tat'll be a nite of good food and good fun, and 3 full days of fun fun and FUN.
plus, he's organising this chalet coz we're all gonna graduate so he invited all the frens he knew from NUS... so we actually get to meet new ppl, tat'll be fun haha...
