there's a reason why CNY and XMAS are my favourite festive seasons... =)

chu yi to chu si has been crazy for me...
crazy nites + gambling + overdose of cny goodies + really fantastic food = a really haggard-looking me NOW.

tho i've been tryin to get back to before-cny shape by jogging everyday hahaha...
so far, hmmm... it has kinda been working haha...

spent meetin up with ching and jun for a chick flick!!!!
no rewards for guessing what it is...

"27 Dresses" of coz!!!! haha...

which we had wanted to force the guys to watch with us tat day aft Sakura buffet...
and luckily we didnt, coz the whole cinema (almost, i would say, 90%?!) is filled with gers.
school girls, working girls, neither here nor there girls (like us) were all there in the cinema, going ooohhh and ahhhh at certain parts of the movie...

haha it's fun and interesting in its own way.

anyway! we really like the movie!!! and it's not as chick-flicky as the title makes it sound like.
it's actually juz another really sweet and simple love show. =)

haha... tho i do believe, as what she says, tat the stockings really prevent blisters and abrasions from wearing those shoes... it wasnt easy getting her to let me take this photo k! =P

met up with Les for desserts aft tat, which was really nice, considering how we wouldnt be able to meet for the next few days of cny until chu si...



visiting relatives...
this year's was even more superb than last year's...
coz we gambled hell lot!

haha okie i noe it's supposed to be a sin... but all in the name of fun... =)




these are relatives from my mom's side. and boy, are they crazy or wat!
everyone, regardless of age joined in the fun... and finally, for once in many many years of CNY, i won qt alot...



my cousins fr my dad's side came over for mahjong and blackjack!!! i think i couldnt get enuff of all those cards and mahjong from cny... my hands are still kinda itching, esp for mahjong!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH... whoever invented that game deserves a nobel prize!!!

so anyway we managed to chase the adults to one of my grandaunt's hse so what was left was a group of crazy teenagers screaming over blackjack and ordering mac delivery for dinner... hahaha...

rite aft i send them away, the chem engin guys (abt 6 of them) came my hse for overnite poker!!!
wah lao, if mahjong is a superb game, i have no word to properly describe how fun poker is...

we played from 11plus pm all the way to 6am... and i won money!!!!!! yaaaayssss!!!
like what yongxiang says, i think i'm luckier at card games den at mahjong. =)



another cousin's hse. another round of great food with superb abalone wahhaha. and many many rounds of blackjack!

was on a winning streak when i had to leave to meet my sec sch frens at St.James!
from what i remembered, tat place was kinda sucky with weird acrobatic performances and lousy music.

but st. james tat day was so much better den the first few times tat i went!
luckily we stayed till qt late, coz the music onli got better and better!




didnt realise how brown my hair is until i stand next to my frens with really black hair... haha...
really fun, tho i didnt drink much... but it wasnt hard to get high when u're dancing with ppl like them...

it's called self-induced craziness hahahaha...

cabbed down to clarke quay aft tat at 3plus am to meet les.
i was kinda on a overdose of high-ness, so forgot to take a photo of wat he was wearing... but it was really nice! all guys shd dress tat way!!! hee...

went over to his hse to stayover so tat the next morn i can bai nian to his family haha...



les's mom cooked up a feast for lunch before we caught kungfu dunk at AMK...

it was stoopidly hilarious and jay chou is sooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!
he totally fits tat role he was playing...

ending was kinda absurd and stoopid, but somehow i was truly entertained throughout haha...

we went back to my hse to have teppanyaki dinner with my family...
i love it. when i'm surrounded with ppl who truly love me and ppl whom i truly love.

i think tat's wat CNY is really abt.

as much as my thinking is very not-conservative, very open, and kinda westernised, when it comes to CNY, i'm still really traditional.
to me, CNY is a time where everyone in the family SHOULD be present. it's juz a few days in a year, surely it's not tat hard to sit down with ur family and have a nice dinner?!?!

i have an uncle who went on a holiday trip to australia during CNY. and tat really disgust me.


so that kinda marks the hectic 5 days of CNY... hee... another CNY celebration with rolex ppl this friday!!! YAAAYSS!!!
