my vday wishes came 4 days late, coz i was so up to my neck for the whole of last week (and seemingly this week too) with all the projects...

but nevertheless, vday was superb, as always =)
it was a day when i juz threw everything aside and enjoyed myself for the whole entire day all the way till 15th feb morning haha...

so i was kinda tired when the ROLEX peeps came my hse on 15th evening to eat CNY teppanyaki dinner and to play poker and blackjack!!!! that night was superb! we lao-ed yusheng with my family, all 11 of us!!!!!

and den we had teppanyaki, and damn i FORGOT to take photos of the food AGAIN!!!!!!! arghhhhh!!!! pls remind me next time we had teppan!!!!! poker overnight saw me winning $10plus heehee... and saw a very tired me the next day! and i still had to go for my cousin's housewarming party!

i wonder how i managed to survive amidst all these partying and playing and rushing through projects haha...

anyway! back to vday!

when u've made and given each other gifts for every single occasion ranging from bdaes to xmas to anniversaries to monthsaries to no-particular-occasions, coming up with a nice and unique gift for vday after 2 and a half years wasnt easy.

i had this whole mental list of possible nice gifts to make and give him, and the items on it is slowly being checked off, and the list is slowly depleting too... but lucky for me, i managed to come up with something that i thought was PRETTY good, i'll say! hee...




all handmade and painted and glued tgt by MOI!!!!! hee... i was elated when i found the shop that sold all these materials and the cutsy little couple on that swing...




isnt the couple cute!!!! there was this pair of baby ger and baby boy, and i so wanted to buy that! haha...

hee bleah! photo collages are nice okaaay!!!! that's a blackboard by the way, and it's so mini and cute haha... it's like one-quarter an A4-size...

den i finally got my gift, that he has been all secretive about... according to him, i always managed to guess wat he's giving/making for me even b4 i received it, so he doesnt wan tat to happen this time haha...




he got the idea fr a mutual fren of ours =))
hmmm, there's a layer of turpentine inside, a layer of oil, and a layer of blue-coloured water... so when u shake it and leave it to rest, u actually can see the green (yellow+blue) blobs of oil rising up... it's NICEEEEEEE!!!!!

something really different fr wat ppl would usually make as gifts...

and i got a dress from him too!!!! it's an amazing gift, coz he nvr choose clothes and buy them for me, fearing that i wouldnt like wat he choose.
but this is really nice darling! it's all shimmery and shiny hahah...




a tad big and loose for me tho, which only means one thing.
i'm slimmer than free size!!!! yaaaaysss! wahahhaa...

and the annual bouquet of roses... =)




despite me asking him to put the money to better use, he still bought a bouquet of roses for me, coz "it's vday, and it's a must for you to receive roses"... =)


all ready to go out! after his lab at 5pm, and my tuition at 5pm...

we went to clarke quay, coz he made a reservation at Iguanas. ever since we came back from USA, i've had a HUGE craving for mexican food!

the mexican food in USA is abundant and everywhere and really cheap and really really really nice! which made me wonder why i've nvr had mexican food in spore before i went there...




i love clarke quay in the evening time and at nite, coz it's all bright and shimmery and everyone there are all dressed up and all in a cheery mood. it's a happy place to be at, coz it's noisy and bustling with youth and life! hee...




i was trying to test my camera's anti-shake function (if it has one)...
apparently not. haha...

we reached the place 30mins later den the reservation time... not surprising considering how long we took to get ready and how we keep taking photos haha... still manage to get tables tho... the waiters and waitresses there were really nice.




took a really long time to decide on the food, coz i cant rem what's burritos and wat's fajitas and the watnots. plus they gave us this complimentary bowl of nachos and salsa tat was sooooooo goooooddddddd!




i went there specially to eat the mexican mashed up beans, that was everywhere in USA. but what i got was mexican definitely-not-mashed-up-a-single-bit beans... that was still nice, but incomparable to wat i had in US!




les the hungry man who placed the burning hot food right into his mouth w/o waiting for it to cool down... hee...

it's so funny how so many ppl from WAT who came back were all craving for mexican food, coz yew lee and ching went to eat mexican on vday too, and so did some of my other WAT frens haha...

it was a freaking filling meal, with loads of carbos... near to the end, i gave up eating the wraps made up of flour, and juz dug out all the fillings to eat haha...




expressions liddat made me wonder if he's really turning 24 this year, or is that a fake ID he has been using hahhaa... =P




we were walking towards city hall when we passed by these series of structures placed on the field...




there were SOOOOO many ppl walking past us okay!!! it being vday and stuff... i felt so stoopid haha... but it was fun lar...

went to holland V coz we wanted to watch les's frens perform a gig at Harry's... passed by this new yoghurt shop right next to Crystal Jade... they were really generous, they gave us this small cup of yoghurt to sample... a cup of yoghurt that size prob cost abt $2 plus outside...

den i realise the ger standing behind the counter was my senior from RVHS! wat a coincidence... apparently that shop is opened by her bf... so we bought a cup to try... i love it! it has the same texture as Venezia's ice-cream, and Venezia's is like my all time fav ice-cream! yes, better than Ben&Jerry's i think!




to help my fren advertise alittle, it's called "Frolick" at Holland V, right next to Crystal Jade... and some of the salesgirls there are pretty good-looking! hee...

reached Harry's at around 10pm...




les dedicated a song for me, and his frens sang them on stage! hee tat's sooooo sweet! i love it when ppl dedicate songs to me wahhaha...




tried to take a photo of them singing but it was too dark and i didnt wanna on my flash...

shared another beer, coz we were both damn freaking full after all the mexican food and the margaritas and the yoghurt!




hee... all in all, it was a fantabulous vday!

presents and an expensive dinner aside, everyday spent with you feels like vday... sounds cliche but so true... coz this is how you pamper and love me every other day that we've been tgt...

we went back to his room after that feeling all happy and blissed and kinda tired, and i juz got abt thinking abt my life.

i've got a secured good job now, satisfactory uni results (tho suddenly tat's not as impt as the job anymore), frens who're always standing by me, a family who has bonded closer and has become more supportive of the things i do...

and you.

there's nothing more i can ask for now.

despite any of the mistakes that i've possibly made in my 22 years in this world, i must have done something really right for you to have been in my life. =)
