I'm at my workplace now, typing this coz my work for the day is almost done, and i'm juz waiting for Fanny to reach and meet me for dinner... haha...

apparently i've been told by my friends to blog abt my job haha... so here it goes, some updates!

1) the company works on a liquid-seating arrangements. in that, it means u go to the company every morn and juz sit down at whichever table is unoccupied.
i hated this initially when i knew abt it, coz i always wanted to decorate my office table ahha...
but the idea had proved to be pretty nice and i'm starting to like the whole liquid-seating arrangements thingy ahha...

2) the company gave me a free new laptop! yaaays! complete with mouse, adapter, laptop bag blah blah.

3) i have my own phone line tooooo!!!!!

4) every wed is work from home day waahhaha... and i'm allowed to apply for another work from home day 6 months aft i'm a cfm employee hee... AND AND ANDDDDD the company will gave me a 1-time amt to buy printer, set up wireless, buy office supplies etc for my home so tat i can work from home! hee....

5) it's like an international conference here. by tat i meant, there're not onli sporeans, there're malaysians, indonesians, filipinos, thais, PRCs, aussies, new zealand-ers, indians, americans... hmmm wat haf i missed out? and by tat i oso meant, out of the 100plus ppl working on the same storey as me, onli abt 10 are sporeans. so i think i'm really really REAAAALLLLYYYY lucky to haf snagged this job =)

6) the benefits and perks are so superb i cant even begin to describe how happy i am wahahha

7) they're damn lenient abt dressing and shoes. so basically, i've been wearing wat i used to wear to sch (minus the miniskirts and shorts of coz) to work. and i totally love their dress code here. u can wear business attire, and u wouldnt feel out of place. u can wear summer dresses and u wouldnt feel out of place too.

8) they dun really care wat time u come to work and wat time u leave, as long as u finish work. sometimes i enter at 11am and leave at 5pm haha... of coz tat is, when i finish my work. and they dun really care wat time u go eat lunch and wat time u come back. there was once me and my colleagues went for a 2hr lunch break. -_-'''
and i juz popped down with another colleague for teatime at donut factory wahahhaha...

9) there're sooooooo many places to eat here around novena.

10) the ppl here are damn funnn! we have this 5 hrs meeting/gathering last fri, and i couldnt stop laughing...

11) i haven really got to noe alot of ppl, or got to make GOOD frens... but i think i'll survive. and i think it takes time so oh wells.

12) so far, for the past 2 weeks i've been here, working life has felt totally like school life... so i'm starting to think, mebbe working is not tat bad aft all. it was nice to check my acc and see money inside haha...

13) i cant wait to be able to handle a certain brand!!!!!

so there you go!

bottomline, i really really like this company alot. =))
and i hope i'll continue liking it, even aft i get to noe the ppl here better, and even aft loads of work is piled on me haha...

the ppl here have been very nice and helpful (not ALL of them tho). but despite tat, i can see very clearly why everyone is always saying (and warning me) tat it's very hard to make good frens at workplace.

anyway these few weeks have been pretty good for me. despite my short-termed depression at being back in spore fr melbourne haha...

i've been meetin up with alot of frens, and tat's reassuring... coz i'm kinda worried frens will drift apart aft everyone start work at diff places.

results were out last fri!!!!!
and i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY with mine!

firstly, i didnt da bao anything like i had feared.
secondly, it was beyond my expectations.
thirdly, my results this sem is the best sem EVER. and tat's very nice, coz it ends my schooling life with a bang. and it made me feel like, maybe i'm not tat bad after all. =)
fourthly, it brought my honours class up one level. YAAAAYSSSSS!

tat's all now. i'm goin to pantry to make milo hee...
