I tink it's a week after National Day can't rem.

We went on Singapore Flyer!!!!!!!!
all thanks to Les's fren who had 2 vouchers where you can purchase Singapore Flyer tickets at $10 instead of the usual (i think) $30.

but anyway we went around trying to get a cheap blazer for Les. and G2000 was having this gynormous sale!

he took like a whole hr deciding whether to choose M or L for the blazer... -_-'''
i was so bored, i started to put random blazers around me coz the store was so freaking cold. and taking random photos of him trying on.



it's so simple and nice! i chose it! wahhaa... initially the salesman handed him this striped one that looks so ah-pek-like. so anyway, after tat we were off to the Singapore Flyer, which by the way is located at some secluded place that seemed impossible to get to.

it's like, from far away, u can see that humongous wheel up in the air, but somehow u just cant seem to get to it... -_-'''

that's a model of the capsule that we'll all be in. it's larger than i tot... i always tot the capsule can only fit at most 4 or 6 ppl...

and the centre for Singapore Flyer. it really does resemble the airport. and it's actually more of like a shopping mall. they've got tons of food inside.

they've got Popeyes!!!!!!!!!! the fast food place that sells the best fried chicken! i totally heart their mashed potatoes, it's supadupa nice! reminds me of USA though. u know how singapore's mashed potatoes are usually totally mashed?!?!!? well, the USA's ones are mashed, but with chunks of potatoes inside. really nice!

anyway, now u know. u nvr ever haf to buy a plane ticket just to taste popeyes. hahaha...




they even have a baggage counter where you can check in your baggage okay. how cool.
and lucky for us, because that night we had a total of 4 bags between the both of us. dun ask me why. i think it's shopping haha...

and all ready to get checked in!




i would say, their imitation of the airport is superb. everything that reminds u of an airport was there.

and once inside, myraid of reds filled my vision...




the capsule actually doesnt stop for u to get in. you just have to kinda "hop" in while it's on the move along the platform. but it's moving really reeeeeaaaaaallllllyyyyy slowly. crawling in fact.

once inside the capsule, it was myraid of blues this time. and i dont like it, it's hard to take nice photos with that kinda lighting. and it's supa florescent lar.




lucky for us, there wasnt alot of ppl in the same capsule as us. so it wasnt that crowded. and also, there was this supa dupa cute baby inside with us!!!!!!! i think i was looking at him more than the scenery outside haha...

it was actually nicer and more dreamylike than i thought... although there were this period of time when all we could see was the construction works over at Sentosa IR.

the entire capsule was practically crawling... it took us like 15mins to get to this point. but oh wells, i guess u've to move at tat speed so that ppl with motion sickness (i.e. ME) can take the Flyer in comfort, and also so u can take nice nice pictures inside!

which is why, i can never live in the countryside for long. for a few months prob. more than that, i'll be bored to death.

many of my frens have been asking me about the Singapore Flyer after they realise i've taken it.
so these are shoutouts to all your questions.

1) No, it's not worth paying $30 for it. Prob only worth $10.
2) But yes, you can prob just pay a one-time $30 just so that when ppl asked u if u've tried it, u can nod your head. haha...
3) it moves really reaaaaaaallllllly slowly. like it takes 30mins to go one entire round.
4) Go at night, it's so much nicer, because then you can see the city with her night lights.
5) Go after Sentosa IR has finish building. Then, you'll be able to see all the casino lights and the hotels and watever nots are being built now...


okay ppl have been nagging at me to give updates. so here goes.


Work is crazy and really stressful. But yet at the same time, it's good and making me happy. Does that make sense? There's a certain sense of fulfillment everytime i do something right. And there's this really sucky feeling everytime i make mistakes.
But everyone kept telling me i just started, so i should take it slow.

But i'm someone who likes everything to be done fast and efficient. so it's really frustrating everytime i make mistakes, coz then it takes even longer for me to finish the task at hand.
AND! there're sooooooo much stuff i still havent learn, so everytime i have to complete a certain thing, i've to go around asking first, which is really a hassle. but oh wells, i learn stuff so prob it's good in the long run.

But anyway, ppl there have been really really nice to me. Everytime i'm so busy i forgot to go down for lunch, somehow someone will buy lunch for me, even without me having to ask. which in my opinion is really reallly nice. and when i offer to pay them back for the lunch, it always elicit the same response "it's okay, it's on me". =)))

And i remember vividly, this day when i took sick leave. but because the next day was deadline for the submission of this really really impt document, i worked from home for a few hours in the afternoon. when i log onto my office communicator, and ppl in office saw me online, they shooed me offline and "ordered" (yes, that's the exact same word they used) me to go rest. And they refused to give me any information about the document that i would have needed to complete it.

And my entire team asked for an extension of the submission.
i think it's a really nice gesture. because a late submission affects all of us.

of coz there're bad days too. and those are the days when i really look forward to the weekends to keep me going haha...


I hate driving.
i cant wait to pass the bloody freaking test.


i totally regretted not joining the NIKE run.
the tshirt is so freaking nice.

and it would be nice to train up for something like that.

freq of me going to the gym is decreasing. coming week, i will jog every night like i used to.

it's supa inconvenient, and no, the rain doesnt exactly make me slp better at night actually.
it just irritates me to the core, because everytime i wanna do something, it starts to rain and i've to cancel it.

I've been pubbing/clubbing alot.
Like, for the last 3 weeks i've been going Timbre Fri night with different groups of frens.
and last week, i went Clarke Quay. that place is superb. it's so teeming with life and energy and youth. how can anyone not love that!

coming week, i'm going Zouk!!!! and i've got a bbq to attend yays! (hopefully, not cfm yet)

and i just bought Samsung Omnia. it's supa sleek and thin and nice. photos up when i'm not in such a lazy mood.

By the way, I've signed up for some YMCA camp in December, and i'm going on holidays too in the same month. wheeeeeeee. i hope my manager dun kill me for taking too many days off haha.
