Had my brand team offsite among more than a month ago (yes, i know i havent updated for damn freaking long haha)... n unfortunately it suay suay coincided with my driving test date. arghhhhh!!!!! so i miss the afternoon activities which are the beach games and the amazing race.

i am sooooooo pissed when i found that out! =(

BUT BUT BUT!!!!!! i passed my driving test!!!!!!! YES la!!! i officially have a license, in fact the license has been delivered to my hse alr. wahhaha... i finally understood why ppl get all-excited when they received their license.

anyway i went back in time for the grand dinner at night where we all had to dress retro.
and my dear roommate couldnt stay the night because her night classes end too late SO! i had the entire hotel room to myself!



so shioks can.
i've never slept in a hotel room all alone by myself before. and this was ultimate pleasure, like i could just roll around and jump on the bed as much as i can.

and i love their study table and the lamp on it!




anyway when i reached my room, the team was having free and easy time, since dinner was 7... so basically i just bathed and jumped around on my bed and watched trashy tv and enjoyed the poshness around me. haa!




so anyway i didnt bring my camera down to dinner coz it was too much of hassle and i was kinda lazy haha...

we basically had some international buffet then we played games and gave out fun awards in the function room.

and then it was all drinks and dance and fun!
stoopid yikhun was going around perpetually holding onto 2 bottles of wine and refilling the glass of anyone in his sight (including moi) so i actually drank pretty damn lot.

we had some karaoke competition too, on the playstation provided by the hotel. damn shioks right?! basically we just sang really stoopid songs like Barbie Girl -_-'''
that was by far, the worst song choice of the night haha...

drinking session was carried forward to the rooftop pool. and by that time, everyone was pretty much wasted. u noe the typical drinking game like truth or dare, i have never etc etc.

and also coz we're so near to Changi, we invented this really really stoopid game called guess-which-airline-by-the-sounds-it-make... -_-'''
like, seriously! haha

anyway one of the marketing guys got asked, who he fantasized most about among all the gers in our team. and omg, i was so freaking embarassed when he said his answer. and still he insisted it's a compliment. wah lao my face was already red, i think it was on fire towards the end of the night. anyway he was kinda drunk, so thank god. coz it'll be pretty embarassing if he actually rems his ans the next morn. hahaha...




Mr Teo has officially turned 24!!! wooohooo!

it's actually pretty nice to have the same birth month as your boyfren. =)
anyway knowing how sick he is of western food already (because i love western food and he's alawys tryin to accomodate to my whims haha), i nicely and sweetly brought him to sushi tei instead... hahahha...

by the way, if u wanna go sushi tei, go to the one at raffles shopping centre. it's the bestest of the best. it does not have a long queue, so ur waiting time is really short and the decor inside is fantabulously amazing!



i love those curtainy things on the right photo... very nice and very spa-like. haha...




this is one of the rare occasions when u'll actually see him in a shirt haha... and jeans too! ppl who know him, will know what i'm talking abt.

haha but it's a refreshing sight from his usual berms and tshirt... =)

and the food we ordered! superb lar! even looking at them now makes me salivate.

needless to say, sushi tei is our favorite jap restaurant... affordable and really tasty. of coz, any jap restaurant that served better food than them is prob way out of our budget.




seee! this is the pro of having a working gf... i can now afford braun buffel, no more pierre cardin hahaha... and it's abt time coz he has been using the wallet i gave him for his first birthday that we celeb tgt... tat's like 3.5years ago! and it so looked totally chui already haha...

went to esplanade after tat because i wanted to cut cake and sing birthday song for him there...



and there's no decent cake shop at esplanade!!!! arghhh... okay lar, we did go there kinda late, but still! i'll expect some of the cafes still opened to sell at least small slices of cake but there's none!

so in the end we went to Max Brenner's and bought one of their waffles there as his cake.
and there wasnt even any candles too =(




but the waffle was damn nice. hahaha...
after that it was Harry's coz he wanted to watch some Arsenal match there...

so basically for the entire day, we just ate and ate and ate... haha...




we took the counter seats RIGHT in front of the humongous tv screen.




anyway after that we cabbed back to his hse coz i'm staying over. and ta-da! the homemade gift i gave him!




it's basically just a photo collage around a bottle with flower petals inside.
but but BUT!




it lights up in the dark!
isnt it nice?!?!?! and so romantic! coz the orange flower petals inside the bottle made the light kinda orangish...

now it's sitting nicely next to his bed in hall as a bedside lamp. =)
i had a supa hard time trying to make this gift lar... aiyoh.

and the Braun Buffel wallet.



the leather was really nice and i totally love the design. the moment i saw it, i was thinking, ok i have to buy this.

and thank god it's not like way way way expensive haha...
anyway he said the bull thingy on the front of the wallet reminds him of me -_-'''

next morning (or afternoon) we woke up bloody late coz we stayed up till bloody late the night before.

went to thomson road, wanting to have lunch along the atas atas row of shops.
in the end we ended up at miss clarity's cafe. i think the colorful decor attracted us in haha...




i've only been there twice but the decor always leave a deep impression on me whenever i go there.




and u wont imagine how much food we ordered. considering how much we ate the night before, i think this was an overkill.




the fries with loads of cheese really killed us.
it's like halfway through the dish, i was freaking bloated already. and the mains havent even come yet -_-'''

how to not get fat, eating liddat HUH!

yes, the lights are all up pretty and shining in Orchard!
every year i never fail to make trips down to town just to look at xmas lightings.

and by the way, i always think that the lightings are pretty awesome!
i have no idea why Singaporeans are complaining about this year's in papers. seriously, some ctys dun even bother doing all these. sometimes Singaporeans just dont appreciate things that are put in front of them.

the next day we were at his hse putting up the xmas tree for the Rolex Party to be held at his hse!

damn fun lar! this is the first time i'm putting up a xmas tree in my 23 living years! wahhaha... and we even bought some decor on our own to add to his mom's humongous collection hee...






we were trying to spread all the leaves as widespread as possible, orders by his mom hahaha... apparently it looks nicer liddat...

after putting 101 decorations on the tree and les doing the final touch by placing the red star at the top, it's all done!!!! =)

though i still prefer white xmas tree coz it somehow looks more atas hahaha... but green is very traditional lar...




later at night we headed down to Fort Canning for the Ben&Jerrys ChunkFest!
i love all these carnivals and festivals thingy because they're just so american-styled. and it's fun to listen to music and have food and mingle around in the open.




i never knew fort canning park was located in town. -_-'''




so castle-like. i think they did a really great job in the decor.




they have these bright huge balls being placed all around the area...




met a couple of frens there... and the queue for the icecream flavors was damn freaking long!!!!!
coz apparently for this festival they brought in 12 special flavors fr USA not available in Singapore.

and les is a ben&jerrys fan, so he just had to try it. haha... and ice-cream? of coz i'm on hee...




we stood in line for like half an hr i think. though it didnt feel that long because there were live bands playing music and it was pretty entertaining. and also during that 30mins, we kept thinking what flavors to order haha...




and so we had 3 scoops!
ermmm cant rem the flavors though! peanut butter something, cinnamon buns and pumpkin cheesecake!

they were supadupawupa AWESOME lar! i love it.
and i love the peanut butter one the most.
the peanut butter flavor is damn overpowering.
so totally worth it!




because we reached at around 8-ish pm, we managed to catch the best bands live!
EIC and 53A (i think, cant really rem what they're called except that their lead singer is female haha)

their music was totally my kind (or rather, our kind hee) and it absolutely rocked my socks la!
everyone there was pretty high and happy and dancing away.
i think it was a great idea to put them as the closing acts.

and guess who i met!




ChunkFest, totally worth going. if not for the ice-cream, then for the live bands.
and the ambience. plus it's at night! my fav time of the 24 hours haha...

anyway, on a separate note, me and les finally managed to try Canele's! which is supposedly one of the best dessert places around. and omfg, it freaking is!






after standing in front of that wonderful display for like a long long time, we finally chose 2 desserts!




haha cant rem lar... like nearly a month ago.
but they're SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good okay!
and i'm not even exaggerating here. they're so good.

it's like, u just had to put one mouthful in ur mouth and u'll totally show its awesomeness on ur face.
yes, THAT good.

i love it. i wanna go back again.
i wanna try every single thing on their display of delectable desserts wahhahah... =P
