this year ended with a bang, seriously. what with 8 xmas parties and 3 New Year parties, i think i'm burnt out from playing but a very very happy girl at that =D

sianz, now tml i've to start work proper... =((
and looking at all the activities the past 2 weeks, *wails!!!!!* i wanna do them all over again!

so what have i done in 2008?

1) I presented my FYP (which i completed in previous sem in record time of 4months! yays!) and got an A for all the effort/time/sweat.
2) I ended my very last sem in NUS with a CAP of 4.8 in that sem alone, which brought my class up from 3rd to 2nd lower.
3) I joined YMCA as a volunteer.
4) I took Japanese classes with Mark and Peiting.
5) I graduated and threw my Mortar Board and hat up like all other graduates in NUS.
6) I got a really fantastic job at P&G with a more than satisfactory salary and benefits package.
7) I had a really really down period with Les, but we talked about it and got through it and now, we are stronger than ever together... =)
8) I went for my graduation trip with Les to Melbourne.
9) I went for a Batam trip with my cousins.
10) We celebrated our 3 year anniversary... to more, baby =)
11) I officially ended my schooling life and started my working life.
12) I went for my very first YMCA camp as a volunteer to help the physically and intellectually disabled.
13) I went to Langkawi with the gals for 5D4N!
14) I've gone for 8 xmas parties and 3 new year parties!


Looking back, i think i'm pretty proud of myself. And very happy with whatever i've achieved in 2008.

I was flipping through my blog archives to look for my 2008 resolutions. and here they are.

and i think i've achieved them all to a certain extent.

Of course, to become an even better person that's kinda subjective, dont u think? i cant really judge for myself if i've become an even better person, but i noe to sign up for YMCA volunteer and to actually go for a volunteer camp, it's a pretty huge step to me. and whether or not it will or has made me a better person, it no longer matters, because i've learnt so much from it. so much. things that no one else can ever teach me.

to find a good job, definitely.

to maintain better relationships, definitely too.
after i started work, i think the significance of relationships and spending quality time with loved ones have taken a whole new level for me. i'm sorry but i dun understand how ppl can get so ambitious and career-oriented that they slog their ass off rather than spend time with their loved ones or even going for the once-in-a-while gatherings with friends.

i'm so glad that 2008 has been so fantastic for me.
