As usual, my blog entries are pretty retarded. so anyway here you go, one of my CNY gatherings.

Every year since we got to know each other, the Rolex ppl will gather at my house for CNY steamboat/teppanyaki, and then Wilson's bdae celebration and then gambling.

haha it's a routine that i so loved! and i loved eating teppanyaki together with them lar, we always buy alot of good food, and it's nice to gather around eating steamboat together =)




and everytime we have teppanyaki/steamboat, i ALWAYS forgot to take photos! arghhh, because once we start cooking, the food is so good, taking photos is last on my mind. hahah.

BUT this time! i remembered! even though it was towards the end. but still.




mind you, that's only HALF of what we had. haha...

after we finished all the food, we did the usual cheese+mushrooms dish which always come last. basically u just barbeque the mushrooms together with butter, and then add cheese on top to melt it.

i tell u, it's supadupa NICE! but it HAS to go with portobello mushrooms. not the normal kind, which will turn out quite bitter.

Next time, we'll buy the expensive Portobello mushrooms to go.

Anyway after Ching arrived, we started on the gambling session!
started with poker! though we played BlackJack and in-between too. so fun lar, i love gambling. hahaha...

anyway halfway through the poker session, Ching and I went to the kitchen to prepare Wilson's bdae cake. it was a surprise lar, dun think he expected it, coz there was still 1 week to his bdae... hahha...




i chose the cake! it's damn nice lar... hahah...

anyway when i bought the cake, the person asked if i needed candles.



you know what this shows?!?!?!

1) That bakery is damn stingy.
2) Wilson, you're too old man!

hahahaha... i know lar, i'll reach that age sooner or later. but no matter how old i am, you'll always be OLDER. that's my point. haha lalala...

so the bdae boy with all of us...




we bought him an entire set of working essentials, namely a tie, cuff links, and a namecard holder.

and all of us!




then the gambling resumes.




i won $30 that night! yays. not as much as Lester though, that gambler. haha...
damn fun lar. my fav is still Poker. I lost terribly at Blackjack. =(
